Smart Job Fair and Jadunath School Centenary held in Bagerhat
Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center will be established in Moniganj of Bagerhat Sadar. The construction cost of this 16-storey building is Tk. 170 crore. This information was given by the ICT state minister while speaking as the Chief Guest at the smart employment fair before visiting the designated place. He said that the government is building these facilities to create smart citizens. State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak also said that now more than 500 freelancers are earning foreign currency by working in Bagerhat with the training opportunities of the government. Bagerhat 2 Constituency Member of Parliament Sheikh Sarhan Nasser Tanmoy inaugurated this fair at the local District Council auditorium on Friday.
Advocate Amirul Alam Milan, Member of Parliament for 4 constituencies presided over the event while the District Police Superintendent KM Ariful Haque and District Awami League General Secretary Bir Muktijoddha Hemayet Uddin were present at the time. In the event, two successful freelancers of Bagerhat - Rabiul Islam and Hafsa Begum - who took online training, presented their success stories.
On the occasion of the fair, 40 smart women entrepreneurs of the district received cheaques worth taka 50 thousand each and in total 20 lakh taka and got 10 laptops.
After the job applications were lodged, face-to-face interview and screening among 1600 interested youth registered at the fair to build a career in information technology, the selected got the opportunity to be shortlisted in 35 major IT institutes of the country.
At Inspirational Stories and Learning Sessions – Nijer Bolar Moto Ekti Golpo Foundation Founder Iqbal Bahar, Motivational Speaker Ghulam Samdani Don and Ten Minute School Co-Founder Ayman Sadiq. Apart from participating in the fair, the ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak visited the proposed site for setting up Sheikh Russell School of Future at Chirulia School and College in Bagerhat Sadar and Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center at Moniganj and attended the centenary celebration of Jadunath School and College.
